Foot valves are commonly used in ponds, swimming pools, wells and almost anywhere there is a pump.

The surface or opening of the foot valve is larger than that of the pipe, thereby minimizing pressure loss (energy dissipated due to friction along the pipe).

Description

Our PN40 stainless steel double flap check valve features a simple, reliable and compact design that allows the fluid (liquid or gas) to flow through it in only one direction, allowing flow in that direction and automatically preventing backflow. (reverse flow) when the fluid in the line changes direction. Made of steel with high corrosion resistance, ideal for places where the properties of steel and its resistance to corrosion are needed.

The two discs are opened by the pressure of the circulating fluid, allowing the fluid to pass in the desired direction. When the flow stops, the valve closes quickly with the help of the closing spring, thus preventing reverse flow. The grooved vulcanized nitrile sealing gasket ensures perfect sealing and makes it suitable for a wide variety of working fluids.
