Description

Our ball check valve with threaded ends is used for pipelines carrying wastewater, dirty water, or water with a high concentration of suspended solids. It is also used in pumps designed to extract water from a well. Its simple operation, which relies on gravity, works as follows: A ball is positioned on the ring that blocks the flow of fluid; when the pump draws water from the well, the ball lifts and moves to one side, allowing water to flow unimpeded from the well to the system outlet. When the pump stops and ceases to draw water from the well, the ball drops back to its initial closed position, preventing water from rising; at the same time, this prevents the system’s piping from becoming empty. Its design ensures low pressure drop, full flow, and no obstruction. The valve ball has low inertia, so the opening pressure is approximately half that of a poppet valve. A leak-proof valve for which it is important to consider the direction of fluid flow during installation; it is easy to maintain without having to disconnect it from the system, as internal parts can be cleaned, repaired, or replaced by removing the cover and its corresponding screws. Its nitrile ball is resistant to fresh water, seawater, and stormwater runoff, even when contaminated with hydrocarbon residues. Threaded ends in accordance with DIN 259/ISO 228-1 (BSP-gas thread)
