Aplications

Foot valves are commonly used in ponds, swimming pools, wells and almost anywhere there is a pump.

The surface or opening of the foot valve is larger than that of the pipe, thereby minimizing pressure loss (energy dissipated due to friction along the pipe).

Description

Our bridge valve is a valve used for ponds, reservoirs and swimming pools.

Basically it is a valve whose operation is carried out by a threaded spindle that ascends a bridge that has a threaded upper part. This spindle is joined by a plate and its screws to a disc or plate with a rubber closing gasket that rises and falls as the valve is operated, closing and opening. This plate closes the passage of water in a seat that is horizontal.

It has a cast lever or handle (optional) to operate the valve.

It is like the valve in FIG. 15 but changing the base legs with a drilled flange according to UNE-EN 1092-2 PN-10.
