Double Sphere Rubber Expansion Joint Threaded Ends Fig. 83

Threaded ends according to: DIN 259 / 2999.

CHARACTERISTICS:

– They allow the adsorption of the four movements: compression, elongation, lateral deflection and angular deflection.
– They eliminate the noises and compensate the vibrations produced by the pumps or other equipment with pressure, temperature or corrosive fluids conditions.
– It occupies a little length of installation and is very light.
– It has a reduced fatigue factor and a great resistance to the deformation, being as well resistant corrosion and erosion.
– It doesn’t have an electrical continuity.
– It’s easy to assemble because it has floating flanges.
-The work temperature is between: -15 ºC and 90ºC. – Working pressure: 10 bar.
– Explosion pressure: 30 bar.
– Main utilities: Cold water, hot water, air, oils, fats, gas, gas oil, hydrogen…

MOUNTING:

– It is important that we always place the sleeve as close as possible to the pump and that the other end of it is well anchored using an anchor or fixed point, thus resulting in perfect isolation from vibration and noise.

– To absorb movements in pipes, the sleeve must be inserted respecting the placement of the fixed points and guides.

Aplications

Foot valves are commonly used in ponds, swimming pools, wells and almost anywhere there is a pump.

The surface or opening of the foot valve is larger than that of the pipe, thereby minimizing pressure loss (energy dissipated due to friction along the pipe).

Description

Our double bidirectional wave anti-vibration sleeve prevents the spread of noise, cushions and absorbs the effects of vibrations in pumps and regulation devices that intervene in fluid transmission systems and protects from water hammer. They cannot and should not be used to absorb expansion, tension or displacement of the pipe above the permitted values.

Allows longitudinal, transverse and angled movement. They have minimal pressure loss, are full bore and watertight with easy disassembly as no welding is used.

It is also used as an expansion joint between two pipes and is useful as a disassembly reel. It is very useful for the installer in assembly to correct misalignments of rigid pipes. It is very resistant to corrosion and erosion and its main uses are: EPDM is for treated water, heating and cooling water, seawater, industry. And NBR ones for hydraulic oil, fuel oil, fuels, mineral oils, gasoline, petroleum, greases, natural gas and exhaust.

Threaded ends according to DIN 259 / ISO 228-1 (BSP / Gas thread).
