Our globe valves have a linear motion that is used to start, stop, throttle and regulate a fluid.
Globe valves are also one-way and prevent water hammer, that is, the sudden increase in pressure caused by a rapid change in the flow rate of the pipe.
The closing disc of the globe valve can be fully opened or closed. When opening and closing the globe valve, the closing disc moves perpendicular to the seat of the body.
This movement creates a space between the closing disc and the body seat that gradually closes as the valve closes. This feature provides the globe valve with good fluid regulation capacity. Globe valves can
be installed in two ways:
The closing disc closes in the opposite direction to the flow: The kinetic energy of the fluid obstructs the closure, but also helps to open the valve. Recommended when a fast action opening is required.
The closing disc closes in the direction of flow: The kinetic energy of the fluid helps to close, but obstructs the opening. Recommended when a quick action closure is required.
To close we will make a rotating movement of the steering wheel clockwise and counterclockwise to open. This is an external spindle valve, the operation of which is carried out by a rising threaded spindle that rises and falls along with the closing disc as the valve is operated, providing a visual indication of the valve position and Allows the spindle to be greased. The locking disc is placed at the bottom of the spindle and is fixed to it. This connection goes up and down because the bridge cover has a fixed thread at the top.
