MAINTENANCE<\/strong><\/p>\n – Before starting FIG.4L PUMP \u201cALETORIA\u201d TYPE, we will mainly take into account that the assembly will be carried out in vertical position and that a suction valve will b located in the lower parto of the suction tuve that will ensure a continuous and correct priming of the pump.<\/p>\n – At the first start-up, it will be necessary to prime the pump by introducing w\u00e1ter from the top, and then proceed with pumping. This is done making a \u00bc turn back (suction) and anothert \u00bc turn forward (discharge). After a few moments, it will need more effort to do this operation. It is a sign that the pump has already filled the pipe with w\u00e1ter and is operational.<\/p>\n – When we detect that it loses pressure because it sucks air and lets a few drops of water lose through the Shaft (N\u00ba 2), then we will have to carry out a revisi\u00f3n of the Packing (N\u00ba9). We will carry out this revisi\u00f3n by first unscrewing the nut and washer by Shaft , then removing the Dowel (N\u00ba7), together with its Handle (N\u00ba6), we will continue with the Gland (N\u00ba8) to fiinally remove one Bushing-press.
