Sewage Water Trifunctional Air Valve Fig. 35R

-Flange and hole dimensions according to: UNE-EN 1092-2 PN10 / PN16.

CHARACTERISTICS:

The air valve contains a kinetic valve and another valve for automatic air evacuation in a single body. In the sanitary system its function is to release and admit the air (gases) from the sewage water’s. The exclusive structure of this air valve guarantees the complete liquid split from the closure system and provide optimal working conditions. For a correct operation, the minimum working pressure must be at least 1,5 bar.

OPERATION:

During pipeline filling, the air pockets (gases) are reléase at high flow rates through the kinetic valve orifice.
It admits a large volume of air during the emptying of the pipelines. Under normal operating conditions, water streams with debris are in the line, and the kinetic valve orifice remains closed, because the release valve stops passing the air that accumulates through the automatic valve. The mechanism prevents the automatic nozzle opening at every small change of pressure in the line, and ensures a gap between the seal system and the contaminated liquid.

Aplications

Foot valves are commonly used in ponds, swimming pools, wells and almost anywhere there is a pump.

The surface or opening of the foot valve is larger than that of the pipe, thereby minimizing pressure loss (energy dissipated due to friction along the pipe).

Description

Our triple-effect (or combined) wastewater suction cup combines a large air and vacuum orifice with a small automatic orifice, all in one suction cup. It is designed to combine discharges or admissions of a large amount of air during filling or emptying of the pipe with automatic discharge of air from the fluid. It has a large air hole between the liquid and the sealing system and a spring between the shaft and the float that compensates for changes in pressure and maintains the air gap allowing good operation, even when using aggressive liquids or solid substances. .

Its design prevents wastewater from coming into contact with the hermetic closing mechanism by creating an air space at the top of the valve, facilitating high-velocity air discharge and preventing premature closure. Bleeding occurs only when sufficient air has accumulated.

All this thanks to: a conical-shaped body with a minimum length designed to maintain the maximum possible distance between the liquid and the closing mechanism, a spring connection between the shaft and the upper float, a deployable hermetically sealed rubber that is less sensitive to pressure differences than direct float seals and a funnel-shaped lower body designed to ensure that waste returns to the system and is removed through the main tube.

All internal metal parts are made of stainless steel.

Applications: pumping stations for sewage, sewage, water treatment plants, sewage water, effluent liquids and seawater supply pipelines.

The suction cup body flange complies with UNE-EN 1092-2 PN10/16 standard.
