Our flanges are made of flat face (FF) type carbon steel. It is a joining element that is used both to join pipes together and in boilermaking. It is the safest and simplest way to join two elements within a piping system or with the mechanisms that are necessary in various types of installations, such as meters, filters or valves.
It is resistant to impacts and tension and allows relatively quick and easy joining or detaching if necessary at a given time. For its extraction it is not necessary to carry out very destructive operations.
It will be important to take into account the nominal pressure or PN, which is the pressure that the flange is capable of withstanding during continuous use over time at a given temperature and in the absence of external loads and without considering water hammer.
We have three types:
– UNE-EN 1092-1 / DIN 2576 PN10.
– UNE-EN 1092-1 / DIN 2502 PN16.
– UNE-EN 1092-1 / DIN 2503 PN25.
